What is an urbanite???

Hey, Welcome! 

Thanks for joining me here on August Ave. I Daisha Nychelle, a Detroit native who appreciates city life and the hustle and bustle. The suburbs kinda make me sad. (insert belly laugh here) 

My aunt called me an urbanite, and it never clicked until I became a real adult. Like, yes, that is so me! 

An URBANITE is someone who lives in a city or urban area and is typically comfortable navigating the fast-paced, diverse, and bustling environment of city life, well-connected, culturally aware, and enjoys the convenience and amenities that urban living offers, often open-minded, progressive, and value diversity, creativity, and innovation, thriving on the energy and excitement of city living and are always seeking new experiences and opportunities to connect with others in their community.

Here on August Ave., I hope to guide you through city life:

Things to see and city people to meet.
